Privacy
NoFlinch is a private friend beta. We collect only what is needed to record, deliver, and review a challenge.
What we store
- The display name you choose, challenge prompt, verdicts, and random challenge or reaction identifiers.
- Challenge and reaction video, including audio, when you explicitly record and upload it.
- Operational timestamps and event records needed to diagnose delivery, deletion, and abuse reports.
How it is used
Data is used to deliver the private challenge workflow, show a sent reaction to its creator, return the creator's verdict, prevent abuse, and operate the beta. NoFlinch does not sell personal data, run advertising, or track activity across other apps and websites.
Who can open content
Challenge links act as private invitations and can be opened by anyone who receives the link. Creator and reaction controls use separate secret capabilities stored on the participating phones. Do not forward an invite outside the people you intend to include.
Storage and retention
Beta media is stored on NoFlinch's private VPS and delivered over encrypted HTTPS links. A reactor may delete a take before sending it. A creator may delete a challenge and all associated reaction media. Otherwise, beta data is retained while the challenge remains active or until the beta is reset. You may request deletion at any time.
Camera and microphone
iOS asks for camera and microphone permission before recording. Recording starts only after an on-screen action. You can review a take before sending it, or delete it instead.
Reports and blocking
You can report and block a challenge in the app. Creators can report reactions. Reports are reviewed through the beta support channel, and content may be removed when it violates the beta rules or applicable law.
Your choices
You may decline camera or microphone access, avoid opening an invite, delete unsent reaction media, delete a challenge you created, report content, or request access or deletion through support.
